User Permissions & Policies

Jukebox Jockey has advanced user permissions functions that enable you to lock down your system in any way you want. These user permissions are integrated into the heart of our jukebox software. It is used to customize our software for your special scenarios and tastes. 

• Platinum Edition: allows for an unlimited number of users (Admin, Host, Guest, Credits Mode, Manager, Etc)
• Gold Edition: allows for 2 users (Admin and Guest). 

Set the user permissions to keep your guests, staff, and other users from gaining access to functions you want to keep locked down. 

• In a jukebox rental environment you can give the host a special password to lock the jukebox. 
• In a business, you can specify special user permissions based on the Time of Day in order to 
• Specify user permissions for managers, staff, and customers
• Users designed specifically for "credits mode". 

You can also use the user permissions to hide or display certain functions of the jukebox depending on what user is logged in. There are two users included with the system that perform these functions. They are the "Always Hidden" user and the "Always Visible" user. Add commands to these users in order to show or hide it's corresponding button or control.
